Mastering the short-answer question (SAQ) leads to points on the AP Exam and develops college-level writing. Mastering the SAQ includes analyzing documents, which is the key AP History skill. Practicing with sources from Marco Polo in China, Portuguese voyages in Africa, and a portrait of Charles V helps students to become more confident while answering short-answer questions.
