The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest of the three pyramids located on the Giza plateau in Egypt and is one of the most iconic structures from ancient history. Built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom around 2580–2560 BC, it served as a tomb for Pharaoh Khufu and reflects the extraordinary architectural and engineering capabilities of ancient Egyptians. The pyramid originally stood at 146.6 meters tall and was the tallest man-made structure for over 3,800 years.
