Spermatogenesis is the process by which spermatozoa (sperm cells) are produced from spermatogonial stem cells in the seminiferous tubules of the testes. This complex process involves several stages, including mitosis, meiosis, and spermiogenesis, resulting in mature sperm capable of fertilizing an ovum.
