Definition

Roosevelt refers to two significant figures in U.S. political history, Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin D. Roosevelt, who both contributed to the development and transformation of liberalism. Theodore served as the 26th President, known for his progressive policies, while Franklin D. Roosevelt, his fifth cousin, was the 32nd President famous for his New Deal during the Great Depression and leadership during World War II.
