Electric Charge:The fundamental property of matter that causes it to experience a force when placed in an electromagnetic field. Electric charge can be positive or negative.
Electrostatics:The study of electric charges at rest and the forces they exert on one another, as opposed to the study of electric charges in motion (electrodynamics).
Coulomb's Law:The physical law that describes the force between two stationary, electrically charged objects. It states that the force is proportional to the product of the charges and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.
