Definition

The theory of intersectionality is a framework that recognizes how different aspects of a person's identity, such as gender, race, class, and sexual orientation, intersect and interact with each other to shape their experiences and social inequalities. It emphasizes the interconnectedness and interplay of various forms of discrimination and privilege.
