The nervous system is a complex network of nerves and cells that transmit signals between different parts of the body. It's divided into two main parts: the central nervous system (CNS) and the peripheral nervous system (PNS).
This is made up of the brain and spinal cord. It processes information received from all parts of the body.
Peripheral Nervous System (PNS): This consists of all other nerve tissues in the body outside of the CNS. It connects all parts of the body to the CNS.
Autonomic Nervous System (ANS): A part of PNS that controls involuntary actions such as heartbeat or digestion.
