Hidden emotions refer to the feelings and emotions that an individual may not be consciously aware of or openly express. These emotions are often unconscious and can influence thoughts, behaviors, and relationships.
Repression is a defense mechanism where distressing thoughts or memories are pushed into the unconscious mind to avoid conscious awareness.
Sublimation is a defense mechanism where unacceptable impulses or emotions are channeled into socially acceptable activities.
The unconscious mind contains information that is beyond our immediate awareness but influences our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
