Definition

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by persistent patterns of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with daily functioning. Individuals with ADHD often struggle with organizing tasks, paying attention for extended periods of time, and controlling impulsive behaviors.
