An entropy-driven reaction is a reaction in which the overall change in entropy (disorder) of the system is positive, leading to an increase in randomness or disorder.
A reaction that is driven by changes in enthalpy (heat content) rather than changes in entropy.
Spontaneous: A spontaneous reaction occurs without any external input and can be either entropy-driven or enthalpy-driven.
Gibbs free energy: Gibbs free energy combines both enthalpy and entropy changes to determine whether a reaction will occur spontaneously or not.
