A bounded interval refers to an interval with both upper and lower limits, denoted by two distinct real numbers. The endpoints are included in the interval.
An open interval excludes its endpoints and only includes all real numbers between them.
A closed interval includes both of its endpoints and all real numbers between them.
Endpoint: The endpoint of an interval refers to either of its two extreme values (upper or lower) that define its boundaries.
