Sensitization

Definition

Sensitization in the context of the lymphatic and immune system is the process whereby an individual's immune system becomes increasingly reactive to a particular antigen after initial exposure. This heightened response can lead to allergic reactions or other immune-related diseases upon subsequent exposures.
